The go live

James took a deep breath. Jetstar's new loyalty program in Singapore was live on Jetstar.com and customers could now sign up. Next stop – launch in Japan!

From backpacking in South America, James' taste for adventure had brought him to Jetstar and it felt great making the world more accessible for others. The grad program had taken him right across the business, but launching Club Jetstar online was an opportunity to really make his mark.

Life could be intense but his confidence had skyrocketed. Coordinating delivery by different departments in different time zones wasn't something you learnt at uni. Jetstar's future in digital technology was going to be an exhilarating ride, and was one he wasn't going to miss.

The cutting edge

It was day one and James was raring to go. A new boarding pass mobile app and real-time flight notifications would transform Jetstar's customer experience and he was the man in charge.

As Digital Product Manager for Emerging Channels, he was working with high performers from across the business to make the customer journey easier. Wherever he turned, from crew to management, there was always someone to support and advise. He'd never felt so excited – or confident.

Innovation was a huge part of Jetstar's future and big challenges lay ahead, but one thing excited James more than anything: he was going to have a front-row seat.
