Inclusion & Diversity Working Group

Recently, we launched our new Inclusion & Diversity Working Group.  The Group brings together a cross section of team members from Jetstar Japan and was created to deliver a sense of community and belonging for our teammates.  Through the Working Group, we ensure that we focus on celebration and also consultation on the things that matter most to our people.

Women Jetstar Japan

Females in aviation

We’re making incredible progress in female representation within traditionally male-dominated roles – whether it be on the ground in engineering or ground operations or up in the air in the flight deck. Recently, in celebration of International Women’s Day, we operated a flight to Fukuoka with an all female team of pilots, cabin crew, engineers and ground staff.

International Women's Day

This year, in recognition of International Women’s Day, the Jetstar Group proudly operated all-female flights across our network in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Japan, highlighting the extensive opportunities available for women in aviation.
