You'll be conducting safety briefings, making sure everyone onboard is hydrated and fed, and bringing the fun vibes to every flight. Our New Training Centre
Before you join us in the air, we’ll provide you with comprehensive training at our new Training Centre - the “Jetstar Japan Star Academy”, based at Narita Airport. You’ll complete various theoretical and practical training assessments, including our critical key safety procedures.

Well done! You’ve made it to our training program that runs for around 6 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are there height restrictions to become a Jetstar Cabin Crew member?
Yes – our Jetstar Cabin Crew must be to reach out up to a height of 212cm. You can easily check this at home before submitted your application, however we’ll also ask you to demonstrate this at the commencement of the Assessment Centre.
What qualifications and certificates do you I need?
There are afew things we’re looking for. You’ll need a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate, a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate. You’ll also need to demonstrate that your able to swim and tread water.
Where are Jetstar Japan Cabin Crew based?
Currently, we have Cabin Crew bases located Narita Airport and Kansai Airport. When we advertise, we’ll let you know specifically which base we are recruiting for.
What if I am unable to attend an Assessment Centre?
If your unable to attend, let us know as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to move you to an alternate assessment centre, however it is mandatory that you attend in person and sometimes we may hold only 1-2 assessment days. If you can’t make it work, we’ll encourage to reapply next time.
Who covers the cost of the security clearance?
Jetstar will cover the cost of your security clearance, however we ask that you cover the cost of your pre-employment medical.
