Anita - Customer Service Manager

The moment of fame

Soaking up the view of Tokyo from her hotel, Anita still couldn't believe she was in Japan. Being recognised for doing a great job was one thing, but to win a Jetstar Bravo Award had left her speechless. Now here she was with her husband, Steve, being treated to a hotel, tours of some of the city's spectacular gardens and temples, and a special awards dinner. Celebrating employees like this is what made Jetstar special.

Even better, she got to enjoy it with other prize winners from the network. She'd met Aussies, Singaporeans, Japanese, Kiwis – it was like the world of Jetstar at one table! She loved hearing people's stories and how things worked in other countries.

Experiences like this reminded you how at Jetstar you worked alongside great people who weren't just workmates, they were your friends. Everyone planned to keep in touch. 'Ready for more Japanese culture?' asked Steve, putting on his jacket. 'Definitely' said Anita, 'as long as it includes sashimi.'
