Danica - Cabin Crew

The dream job

Danica absolutely loved her job. Everyone could see that. Growing up, she threw herself into everything and joining Jetstar's cabin crew gave her the confidence to really challenge herself. Working here made her feel independent and valued at the same time. She couldn't believe how much she'd learnt about herself along the way.

On top of that, her team were really close. As a newly promoted Cabin Services Manager, doing a great job was important but having fun every day was what made the difference. Customers sensed it too. Everyone working as one team was what made Jetstar a truly rewarding place to work.

As she prepared for landing, Danica looked across at her team. After five years at Jetstar, she'd learnt so much about different countries, cultures and where she fitted in the world. Every day was different, yet there was a real sense of familiarity and comfort. She couldn't help but feel she'd found her place.

The ideas list

Danica sat with pen in hand. As a newly promoted Cabin Services Manager, this was the first time she'd completed a flight feedback form and she was brimming with ideas.

Seeking feedback was part of life at Jetstar. As a young airline, good ideas were always in demand so she grabbed every opportunity. On top of that, it made everyone feel good. Each flight was a chance to learn and her team always had suggestions for better ways to do things.

Jetstar was well known for recognising talent and when high performance was rewarded, it gave her team confidence and a real spring in their step. She felt it too. She could already see where she wanted to take her career as the network grew.

Eagerly, she clicked the pen and began to write.
