The bold plan

The whiteboard was covered with ideas and Isabel felt excited. Her team were onto a strategy that could really shake up the market.

Being a project manager at Jetstar was unlike anything she'd experienced. It was a young airline, and you could feel ambition in the air and a hunger to do things differently. She'd built relationships with lots of employee groups from ground crew to the CEO so knew exactly who to talk to. That was invaluable when you had to get ideas off the ground quickly. Like now.

'So, what does the future look like?' said her colleague, walking into the room. 'Well, I know one thing' smiled Isabel. 'It's definitely going to be BIGGER!'

The big switch

As her team sprang into action, Isabel checked the time. Months of planning had gone into the next four hours but by morning, Jetstar's move to Melbourne's new Terminal 4 would be complete.

Working on the T4 project had been exhilarating. One thing was certain – she'd need all her experience to deliver on the challenge.

Right now, aircraft were being moved and all signage being replaced. Passengers needed clear directions. That's when their great idea would come into play – a Star Support Team for terminals, car parks and stations to help people find their way.

As dawn broke, Isabel grabbed a coffee. The planning had paid off, they were ahead of schedule and she couldn't be prouder of her team. In an hour, thousands of passengers would flow through the door for the first time. Right now, she felt ready for anything.
